On the 19th July, Access Your Care attended the Ageing Well event that was was hosted by Vans and attended by a range of professionals from across North Somerset.
The purpose of the event was to work collectively and think creatively about the challenges and solutions to issues facing the older generation.

41.1% of people over the age of 66 live on their own and are at risk of social isolation
Some of the challenges we discussed was the perceptions around aging, accessibility to groups in local areas funding and TEC.
We all agreed the issues that we need to overcome are the lack of positive images around aging, intergeneration groups and companies working together to enable this.
