Paying for Services

We understand that this can be a vital factor in everyone’s decision making. There are various ways which you can access free advice and support to find out what financial assistance you may be entitled when paying for your services.

We always suggest that you speak to your local authority social services department (we can provide you the contact details upon request) or contact your local GP, both options are a good starting point.

The local authority will carry out an assessment of your needs and personal circumstances. You are entitled to this assessment regardless of your financial position. Once your assessment has been completed you may also need to be financially assessed to determine whether you need to contribute toward the cost of the local authority’s care services.

If you do not meet the local authorities criteria for care and support, have savings and investments of more than £23,250 (joint savings over £46,500) or you do not wish to disclose your financial position to the local authority you will be financially responsible for your own care needs. If this is the case, we are able to visit you to offer you advice and guidance to ensure you are accessing all of the financial support available to you. (Financial figures stated, true as of April 2016).

We ensure fair and transparent charging for our services by using the latest in GPS and smart phone technology.  Our monitoring system allows us to monitor the exact location of staff and time spent at your home in real time.  This allows us to provide  you with a detailed breakdown of arrival and departure times.

You will be invoiced on a monthly basis. Our invoices will display the date, the duration and charge of each individual visit. A wide range of payment options are available.
